On June 20, 2025, Iranian missiles struck multiple locations in southern Israel, including the Gav-Yam Negev Advanced Technologies Park in Beโer Sheva, where a Microsoft office is located. The attack caused significant damage to the building and nearby areas, with reports of fires and injuries. Iranโs Revolutionary Guard claimed the strike targeted the Microsoft office due to its alleged cooperation with the Israeli military, particularly in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. At least seven people were wounded, and the attack was part of a broader wave of Iranian missile strikes on Israel.
